Early peanut introduction is recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and others thanks to the findings from a landmark clinical study (LEAP). It is important to consult with your pediatrician before feeding allergenic foods to your infant, especially if they have other food allergies (egg) or severe eczema. If your baby is between the ages of 4-6+ months to 2 years and has already started eating other solids these are a great way to introduce peanut early and often.
