Early peanut introduction is recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and others thanks to the findings from a landmark clinical study (LEAP). It is important to consult with your pediatrician before feeding allergenic foods to your infant, especially if they have other food allergies (egg) or severe eczema.

Our Puffworks baby Almond Butter Puffs do contain a small amount of organic peanut butter and is not intended for babies who are allergic to peanuts, almond or other tree nuts. We recommend introducing your baby to our Puffworks baby Organic Peanut Butter Puffs first before introducing him/her to our Puffworks baby Almond Butter Puffs.

For most infants with severe eczema and/or egg allergy who are already eating solid foods, introducing foods containing ground peanuts between 4 and 10 months of age and continuing consumption may reduce the risk of developing peanut allergy by 5 years of age. FDA has determined, however, that the evidence supporting this claim is limited to one study.

We designed our Puffworks baby product to be a softer, more dissolvable puff with lower amounts of sodium (20mg/serving).

Once your baby is sitting unsupported and approved by your pediatrician, they can start eating solid foods.

Our crunchier Puffs are a good transition food to continue exposing baby to peanut, while also being a healthy plant-based snack. Most parents transition around 18-24 months.

Our Puffworks baby and Original Peanut Butter puffs have 0g of sugar. Our flavored snack puffs have added sugar from organic cane sugar.

Yummy for baby AND me!

My 11 month old son has been eating these since he was 7 months old and we both love them. They were a healthy exposure to tree nut allergen and a quick and easy add to meals or on the go snack. I have to keep the bags out of sight because if he sees them, he gets so excited to eat them! I’ve also taken a few bags for myself because they’re just so yummy. Definitely recommend!

My baby loves both the Puffworks Baby almond and peanut varieties. An easy mess-free on-the-go snack with a short wholesome ingredient list. These have the perfect crunchy texture for baby to hold and munch on and melts quickly in the mouth.

Not good

The consistency is terrible. I emailed the company but never heard back. I would like a refund. My baby cannot eat these and I’ve wasted over $20 on inedible puffs. The product was great in 2021 for my first son, they may have changed the formula. Disappointed

Thank you for your review and feedback! These puffs are made with the same ingredients and are the same product as before, but in the process of making them they lost that usual fluffiness. Since we’re batch-made, our Puffs can fluctuate from time to time, and while we’re working to get this more consistent – as a small company (doing small-scale batches) it unfortunately takes time. I know it's frustrating as a customer just as much as it is for us as a team (and my 3 year old!). We appreciate your support and have processed a refund for this order! - Emily
